NOTICE

AMENDMENTS TO THE CONSTITUTION AND BYLAWS: Amendments to the Church Constitution and Bylaws may be submitted starting 22 July 2024 to 29 September 2024.  Church members, or church groups proposing amendments are asked E-mail proposed amendments to the Constitution and By-Laws Committee chairman G. D. Mc Neal at the indicated address below.  Proposed amendments are to be submitted in the indicated format:

1) Proposed amendments MUST BE TYPED, and submitted on the appropriate (constitution or by-law) amendment form, which can be found in the Members Only Section of the FBC website.

2) All proposed amendments must follow the submission format: (a) the specific Article and Section to which the change is proposed; (b) current wording; (c) proposed amendment; (d) the EXACT wording proposed if adopted; (e) reasoning for the proposed amendment(s); and (f) the name(s) of the sponsor(s).

3) With respect to new material, identify the specific location, (Article and Section) where the proposed new language is to appear in the document, and follow items (c) – (f) above.

In accordance with Article XII of the Constitution, and Article VIII of the By-Laws, all proposed amendments will be distributed to the congregations NLT 17 November 2024.  These amendments will be presented for action at the Annual Church Business Meeting on 21 January 2025.
