The Women's Ministry is excited to continue the beloved tradition of "In Honor of" and "In Memory of" patron's list for Mother's Day. We do this to honor and remember our loved ones. Donations: $2 for individual names, $5 for two names, $10 for family or group. Patron ad's will be received in the annex.

It's A Hat Parade! - The Women Ministry invite you to wear your beautiful hat and participate in FBC’s Mother’s Day Hat Parade on 12 May, 2024. Line up at 10:30 am in the Annex. Our Parade will start around 10:45 am and flow across the front of the church. Be prepared to strike a pose and take a picture. Obtain a copy of your photo for a donation of $5. Signup will be in the Annex.

The UMBC Women’s Auxiliary 48th Service Award Banquet will be honoring the “Music Ministry”, on Thursday, October 3, 2024. The banquet will be held at Martin’s West, Baltimore MD.  First Baptist Church is honored and pleased to announce our 2024 honoree is Bro. Raynard Simms. Tickets are $85.00. This year, we would like to purchase all the tickets early.  You can make payments for your tickets, but all monies must be received by Sunday, June 2, 2024. You may purchase your ticket(s) later, but seating will be in the rear. For tickets and additional information, please get in touch with Sis. Claudia DeGrate, Missionary Chairperson.

Join the United Baptist Missionary Convention for EvangelFest 2024! A Day of Fun, Family, and Fellowship. The event will take place on Saturday 18 May 2024, from 12 Noon to 4pm. Scholarship Corner

The United Baptist Missionary Convention’s Scholarship Ministry is now accepting applications for the 2024-2025 school year. The deadline date for submission is April 19, 2024. The Friends of Banneker Douglas are proud to announce The Thelma A. Sparks Scholarship. This scholarship is available to a graduating senior who attends First Baptist Church. You must have a 2.5 GPA and provide a transcript. The deadline for applications is May 14, 2024. For additional information, please see Sis. Enid C. Lee. (piecey3@comcast.net). A copy of the application is also available from the church clerk.

The Towers Care Foundation will once again award up to 30 $5,000 Scholarship! The scholarship is open to all current high school seniors and college freshman, sophomores, and juniors who are enrolled or plan to enroll in a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Math) or Foreign Language Linguistics major. Additional requirements apply. 

You must have a 3.0 GPA to qualify. Additional consideration will be given to children/dependents of active military and Veterans from all branches of the Armed Fores including the Reserve and Guard Units.
