     As you are aware, a Pulpit Committee has been created to search for a new pastor. The Committee was nominated and voted on at our Annual Church Meeting held on January 17, 2023 in accordance to our Constitution and By-Laws.

     It is the charge of the Pulpit Committee to implement and execute the search process to secure a new pastor as outlined in the First Baptist Church Policies and Procedures forSelection of a Pastor.  The Committee is fully committed to institute and complete this assignment as we are led by God with the utmost of confidentiality and integrity.

 

      As of now, we have begun to meet and begin the search process.  We are currently finalizing a Congregational Survey to be distributed soon to all members to seek your input in the search process. Know that it is our intent to maintain open lines of communication with the congregation as we go through the search process.  In doing so, we ask for your patience and understanding as the search process progresses; more importantly, we ask for your prayers.

 

     Please be mindful that it will be YOU, the active members of First Baptist Church who will vote and select the next pastor of First Baptist Church of Annapolis.  YOU will make the final decision!  Thank you and may God bless each of you.
