The Scholarship Committee takes great pride in recognizing members of First Baptist Church for their academic accomplishments.

 

 

RECOGNITION AWARD

We are asking all students who have earned honor roll or perfect attendance to fill out the recognition application, attach it to their report card and give it to any Committee Member.  Also attach any certificate or award received during the year.

​

                   The deadline for submitting your application is July 2, 2024.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

SCHOLARSHIP AWARD

​

If you are applying for a scholarship for any College or University, you must be a member of First Baptist Church of Annapolis. The applicant must provide a copy of their acceptance letter or official documentation proving enrollment in the upcoming academic calendar year for which the scholarship is requested.

​

                    The deadline for submitting a Scholarship Application is July 2, 2024.

​

Students returning to college may reapply for scholarships by submitting grade reports indicating that at least a 2.0 GPA was obtained during the previous semester.

Other Scholarship Opportunities

The Friends of Banneker Douglas are proud to announce The Thelma A. Sparks Scholarship. This scholarship is available to a graduating senior or presently attending a community college or university! You must have a 2.5 GPA and provide a transcript. The deadline for applications is May 14, 2024. For additional information, please see Sis. Enid C. Lee. (piecey3@comcast.net). A copy of the application is also available from the church clerk.

This year, the Towers Care Foundation will once again award up to 30 $5,000 scholarships!

The scholarship is open to all current high school seniors and college freshmen, sophomores and juniors who are enrolled or plan to enroll in a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Math) or Foreign Language Linguistics major.* Additional requirements apply. Must have a 3.0 GPA to qualify. Additional consideration will be given to children/dependents of active duty military and Veterans from all branches of the Armed Forces, including Reserve and Guard units.
